Only issue with 6 lb fluoro could be line memory/coiling issues. If you are using a fly style reel that would not be a problem.

I agree with Bob above, even though he's slippery....

I too use 6lb mono on my walleye spoon rods with spinning reels. The weight of your spoon will defer any spin issues that are a factor in a dead stick lure or panfish jig.
