shamalex72
My wife was swimming the decoy and a pike flies in and nails it. They have done that many times with no problem, this time it must have clipped the line. Tried to retrieve it but after the first attempt it disappeared into the weeds never to be seen again. I thinks its only the second one I have ever lost, and that was first or second year of spearing.

Spike76
It would have been great to have lost a decoy on Sunday, that would have meant I was spearing. The thrill of the sudden appearance of a pike hitting the decoy, is only in my mind, so far this season. The ice should be better after Christmas, a little north of Brainerd. It should freeze good this weekend. Hope you get another decoy.
