Fishin4fun_MN
28" - 32" M. I have a couple different rods I like to use, but I mostly go for panfish.

Rick G
26-28 medium if in the house 30 or longer if outside. I like rods with medium or med lite power, but with a fast tip for my jigging set up.
LakeDocktor
32" medium. something like the DH walleye stinger is perfect. Exactly what I will be using this year! Went with Recoil guides wrapped in red metallic and smoke to match my Stradic Ci4 1000.

slipperybob
Depends on weights of lures.Medium power up to 1/2 oz.Medium Heavy power 1/2 to 1 oz.
bobbymalone
I think power is fairly subjective for each brand of rods, and maybe especially for ice rods compared to long rods.I have some rods that are marked medium that are probably closer to medium heavy if i compare them to a different rod marked medium. then I have some other rods marked medium that are probably closer to a medium light. coombia21
I just got the new 13 fishing wicked Light and love it. I like using a light rod for fishing walleyes allows you to detect a lighter bight and a better fight.
slipperybob
Definitely true about power btwn manufactures. And for rod length for such short rods, one has to really compare the rod length by where the reel is seated on the handle. For example, a 28" rod may be longer than a 32" rod, when looking at the actual "fishable" length.
