Cheap Portable rod organization

This may not appeal to everyone, but I thought I would share something that I did to my portable to help organize my rods while fishing. In the effort to eliminate loose rods or digging into my rod bags everytime I wanted to change baits, I found a great way to keep my rods out of the way and very accessable. I have an older otter logde and I took the back support bar and attached 6 of those broom holder clips that you would find in your local hardware store. I used a small sheet metal screw and permanantly attched them. While out fishing, I can have a bunch of rods out and within arms reach. They sit horizontal accross the back of the house, and the clips hold the handles surprisingly well.

I have attached quite a few in my permanant house as well and they take up no space and very functional.

Just something I wanted to share with the group.

Good luck and be safe this ice season.

Has anybody done anything to a hub shelter as far as customization/organization? My only thing I have is my soft tackle box has velcro loops on the back, probably so you could attach it to a bike or something. But I velcro the box just above the hub on one of the walls. Keeps it handy and frees up floor space. Plus the outside pocket on it holds my clippers, pliers, and what not.
