insulated 1 or 2 man pop up

You won't find a smaller hub style/ pop up style house. The Base camp thermal is the smallest in the Clam line up. I don't think Eskimo makes smaller ones either. the only way to go smaller would be to switch to a one man sled type house. for those I would recommend the Jason Mitchell Pro from Clam. other options in this style house would be the Frabill Commander (offered in both versions) or the Otter Pro Cottage.

I think the reason you don't see one-man insulated popups all over is that the flip-over shacks like the one sifty just mentioned are already almost ideal for solo fishing. They can fit in almost any vehicle, they are insulated, and they're sized for one person. Not a big market out there for something different, because there's not really any room to differentiate from a solo flip-over.

The 2-4 person popups have an advantage over 2-3 person flip-over sleds in that they don't take up nearly as much room in a vehicle, they are lighter, and they offer more room to fish. The 4-6 person popups offer the advantage of flip-over shacks in that they can fit more people.

I take back my other post here. I was looking at the Reed's catalog and found that frabill has a new fully insulated hub that is 5' X 5' X 5'7". It is called the Frontier model and it is offered in both therm($229.99) and non therm($159.99). It is listed as weighing 25Lbs(therm) and 18Lbs(non therm). This might fit what you are looking for.

A model that is pretty much phased-out is the suitcase style pop-up. I can imagine most fisherman have had this style at some point and can fish one person somewhat comfortably. If your looking for a pop-up this might be the closest to what you explained.

Clam used to have a smaller hub than a basecamp. The Tamarack I think. Non thermal only though. Or those little tents they offer. AlsAlsopo non thermal. I guess in a smaller house I wouldn't care as much if its thermal.

Clam still offers the Tamarack, Vista, Twin Hub I, & Twin Hub II. These are non thermal one or two person models.

Clam used to have a thermal blanket that I believe you put on top, not sure if it was inside our outside.

Brad B might know about this with a link, however it is discontinued.

there was a link but like you said they are sold out and are now discontinued.
