Ya its in the back corner of a clearcut they just cut this summer. Has a low strip of ash behind the stand that they didnt cut. The deer seemed to use the area more than I would have expected this year. I was kind of thinking it wouldnt get good until the popples started to grow in.

Good job on passing on him. Rather kill a doe than a small buck any day. Not saying I haven't shot my share of small bucks, but would rather see him grow like you mentioned. Good luck getting him next season.
