Good Ice Reel

I don't necessarily use them for Walleye's (more for Panfish and Pike) but I am a big advocate of the Sienna's for $30. But if you're looking to spend more than that I would highly recommend in the Sedona in the 1000 class rather than the 500 just in case you run into that large 30"+ fish (I mean WHEN you run into that large 30"+ fish wink ).

I like the Sedona's myself. I use the 750's. I wish they still made that size. I thought that was perfect for ice.

Have a couple 500's also. They are good for pannies and ok for walleye. I don't have a 1000 size in my ice box so I don't know how they feel on an ice rod.

On a budget the sienna is ok. I like the sedona much better. And for the same price as the sienna I think the comparable abu is a better reel.

I also have a few of the tica's. They are nice.

One thing I do whenever I buy a new "ice" reel is put them in my deep freeze when I get home. If they crank smooth in the morning I keep them. If they stiffen up they go back. I hate stiff reels.

Pflueger presidents. I also have a couple Pflueger Trions that I like just as much!

President 6920x and trions are great. I also switch them out and put them on my panfish rods in the summer. I like the extra bulky line roller and the bail stays shut!
