lakeshoremunster
I wonder if a water proof clothing/camping spray would work on the decoys
Feathers Rainin
I've heard WD40 works but I have never tried it. The ducks don't seem to mind there is ice on em if it is cloudy out and if it is sunny out usually they won't accumulate ice even if it is nasty cold. fishersofmen
I had the same issue last year with build-up on mine. Not sure about the WD40 sounds like a smelly mess and you would think it would eat through the paint on the deeks.
poutpro
Don't throw decoys out, just drop them straight down gently so they don't ever get submersed.
dan z
I cut holes in the top of the bodies and drop hot hands in them lol. When find a solution let us know!
H0LE HOPPER
take a blow torch to the tops just go over it quickly works great, might have to do it more then once though depending how long you hunt.
JAR JAR
I would never spray a product on my dekes. First it will give them an unnatural gloss to them and what ever you spray on them may tarnish the finish on them . I do alot of late season on the water and the ice never seems to affect a good diver hunt .
Shane Z
I agree with Jar Jar. Although ice build up is a pain, it should have little effect on birds decoying in.
