Mattress for bunks in ice house.

I bought a gutted 7x8 wheel house and I am just starting on the project. Before I build the bunks I would like to have the mattress so I know everything will fit right. I have looked on line for the 30" wide 4" thick mattress and I am not having looking finding besides one single HSOforum. I am curiuos if there is good place to get them from?

Are you speaking the expensive memory foam or what product. I'm doing the same and confused on what I should use for a pad. I did talk to a foam guy that said 4 inches is needed if you're over 200#'s so you don't bottom out. That stuff is expensive if you get the good stuff. I'm kind of wondering also how much is hype and if it's pretty much the same. I think it's just open cell foam is'nt it? Anybody know?

Foam costs have gone out of sight! I went to pick up a little 22" X 4" block of open cell to mod my Dualsport bike seat and it was around $25 bucks!

Any of the fish house manufacturers should be able to supply you with mattresses. I've purchased a few from Milaca Unclaimed Freight with good success. Also, most mattress suppliers should be able to special order them.
