james_walleye
I was excited about this afternoons hunt, but all I saw was a lone doe.
Wanderer
Yeah, I'd rather be deer hunting this weekend than grouse hunting for sure! 2 of the 4 grouse I've seen flushed from the roost at 2:30 and the other two were on the cabin road; one gravelling the other just sitting there hunkered down head tight to his shoulders looking like he wanted to be shot out of his misery I've seen way more deer though. Hopefully the wind isn't messing with people's hunts too bad.
DonBo
Yep, wish I coulda got out today. Had to pull the docks and winterize the RV. Tomorrow morning I'll be in a tree.
BradB
I saw 7 more deer today than I've seen all season. A doe caught me at half draw--I was in a stand without much cover, so that's how she goes. I probably should have pulled through but I stopped and tried not to move. Not really possible. Oh well, next time.
