anamod
First time bowhunting this year. Dumb question, on my expandable broadheads do I leave the little rubberband on them or remove prior to hunting?
Archerysniper
What broadhead are they?
DonBo
Most have a rubber band to keep the blades in the closed position. If they came with them, leave them on.
anamod
Rage broad heads of some sort . And yes they came with a rubberband on them to keep the blades in the closed position .
Scott K
They will open as they are shot, at least that is how they are designed. I have had some that stick because of dirt, or from me banging it around walking to and from stand with an arrow loaded. I dont hunt the retractable broad points anymore because of that. Jason_Gundersen
I shoot rages and the o-ring on the back is to keep the blades locked in place so it doesnt open during flight... Make sure the ring is pushed up as high as it can otherwise they can pop open and whenever i put my arrow on I always double check the blades
