Gearing up for 2013 - What are you adding to the boat?

Fresh paint job!! Wanna make it dual purpose for the fall. The 12 footer I'm using for hunting now gets a little hairy with two guys!

Oh and a keggerator, fish magnet and Satellite dish!

There is only one thing I'm going to add to my boat next year and that would be me. I just have to get out more in 2013.

They look sweet. I'd take touch screen over depth following anyday. I hate running through all the buttons and the wasted facia space for the buttons.

I'm wondering how much I can get for my HDS-8 w/LSS so I can get a new 9.

I too was excited to see the touch screens added to Lowrance's line. Maybe it was good that I held out to this point, although a lot of times there are bugs to fix with new technology.

That sounds like a good way for them to collect accurate contours from the public to create better maps for the future.

The Lowrance stuff is cool, and I like the idea of a 12" instead of the 10", but it makes me wonder how it's going to work in the cold and rain? I mean, if it's 45 degrees and raining, who is going to want to take off their gloves to change the screen, or who is going to put down the cash to get a good pair of waterproof gloves that have the touchscreen friendly fingertips?

In the spring and fall, wearing gloves when running from one spot to another is very common, as is changing the screen while running.

To bad Humminbird can't buy Lowrance and combine the two to make one seriously BA piece of electronics for your boat.

Not IN the boat...but ON the trailer. LED trailer lights. Going to rewire all the trailer wiring and add LED lights. SO frustrated with going out with lights and coming back with none due to bulbs burning out or wires shorting.

Finding a fishing buddy. Lost mine a couple years ago(didnt pass away) and my other friends dont fish. (WTH) Solo is alright some of the time, but much more fun with someone else in the boat.....

im going to rewire my trailer and do some more tweeking to my motor other than that its good for a cat boat.

Im going to re-do some decking and carpet on my boat. Hopefully a new trolling motor too.
