Canoe tabs

If I use my canoe for waterfowl, do I need to have current tabs on it while hunting ducks/geese?

lol, ok thanks. I thought you didnt have to have tabs on duck boats, and thought a canoe would be considered a duck boat if used for hunting.

As far as I have always been told you don't but I would contact the state or call your local CO....then report here what they said.

Watercraft used for waterfowl hunting does not need to be licensed if only used for waterfowl hunting.

So don't bring your fishing rods!

Scott a duck boat does not need tabs.

From the waterfowl rule book:

• A duck boat does not have to be licensed during the Waterfowl Hunting

Season for waterfowl hunting only.
