Finlander
In my 2003 Tahoe, will I have issues with replacing the stereo and having the so called "Anit-Theft" gismo turn my motor off if I don't do a speacial command?
Macgyver55
No, there is nothing that will turn your motor off after changing a radio. You may however have a problem with the new radio if it had a security code in it when it was removed, but it will be fine if it didnt have a code set or if you know what it is. A dealer can reprogram it for you if you have that problem, but an aftermarket radio wont have this issue.

Finlander
The reason I'me asking this question is when I wired the new stereo power to the existing constant +12v and the other +12v to the accessory switched and normal ground, I was checking out the speaker wires while the truck was running and stereo on when on the information flashing that there was an "Un-Nown Driver" shows, so I turned it off as I didn't want the motor to turn off! So?
Jeremy airjer W
Get yourself a wiring diagram. Only play with the wires that you need to. Leave the others alone. I'm guessing you have power memory seats?
Finlander
Yup, I have power seats and "Driver 1, Driver 2" settings.
Jeremy airjer W
Don't quote me on this but I think that the drivers also change the radio settings?
