pheasant boot

What is a good boot or shoe to chase pheasants around in all day?? Looking for something light weight, waterproof, and the feel of a tennis shoe.

Beans technical upland boot. I don't like the tennis shoe feel myself (on my ankles I'm looking for ski boot) but beans boot gets a lot of nods.

Not really what you asked for but once I tried them I was hooked. Warm, completely waterproof and I can walk all day in them. Now I'm not afraid to go anywhere.

I have Danners if I know there's not going to be any water but that's hard to predict where I hunt.

A good uninsulated waterproof boot with good support works best for me. If it is cold out I put on thermal socks. If it is warm then regular socks. I have Danners but there are plenty of makers that have boots that fit that description. The socks I use are Thor-los and I do like them.

I am thinking of getting some 800 gram or 1000,1200 gram (not sure yet) rubber boot.

Something you can wear when the grass is wet and when walking in the sloughs.

Anyone else wear something like these?
