Chazeman2
Caught a decent little Pike last night. The treble hooks were placed well in the mouth but the single hook went right in its eye socket. I was really upset. Does anyone know what the chances are of that fish surviving? I did release it, but next time should i consider keeping it. I never keep fish, but if it's going to die i would like to. Thanks a lot.

Spike76
Catch and release is fine, myself I would clean and eat it, unless it was in the slot where I would throw it back. I've never tasted a better fish then northern, although not everyone takes care of them like I do. I'm just saying I take care of them different then I've seen others take care of them. Clean them as soon as possible and don't get any slime on the meat.
