I miss those days when they would fire up the kitchen for the canning of veggies. and preparing for the winter.

We got it easy compared to them in those days.

Those days are only missed because of inconvience to those who'd rather buy their old.. unripe.. far from fresh.. canned goods and veggies from the local walmart.. August get's rather hot in the kitchen here at home when we start canning up all the veggies from the garden. Imho.. Starting up the garden is a lot easier than dealing with the grocery store in the end
