Im looking for a new spinning rod it will be paired with a 2500 Shimano Sahara FD 8lb fluoro and will be used for smallies mostly (Tubes,grubs,hair jigs,dropshot) something under $150 med. fast-xfast action 7' any suggestions is appreciated !

Model CRS72MA or CRSDX72MA depends if you prefer a lighter power rod or not...

I picked up the Shimano Voltaeus at Thorne bros for 50 bucks since Cabelas didn't have a 7ft medium in that rod. Its a decent rod for the price just wished all the rod companies would get away from making two piece rods, I would rather have one piece.

what is going to be my biggest diffeerence in the crucial vs. compre ?

One higher grade of graphite with the Crucials which will make it lighter and more sensative. As well as getting Fuji Alconite vs Fuji Aluminum Oxide on the Compre.

Any reviews on these Fenwick Elite Tech rods ? I was looking at getting the 7'4" medium spinning combo. $129 seems like a decent deal.

My next rod is going to be a compre. I have two buddies that have love and they love them. Light weight and sensitive.
