1st Time Seeing our Soon-to-be Pup...

Got to see the pup we will be picking up in about six weeks. He turned a week old today. Pretty excited for a new pup after we put our long-time buddy down last fall.

i held mine like that almost 10 months ago. they are a great blessing and i'm so thankfull i got her. they grow fast, enjoy big time!!good luck.

It's a black lab (British) out of Old Oak Retrievers in MN.

Very cute pup! If you are able to and the breeder allows it, I would encourage you to visit your puppy at least 3 or 4 times between now and when you pick him up. I believe it makes the transition for the pup to his new home easier because he knows your scent, your voice, etc. We have always encouraged this with our puppy buyers and most of the local people come to visit once a week. They really enjoy it and the pups LOVE it! And it may actually make the time go faster.

We are going to try and do that as much as possible. I think it's a great learning experience for my two young boys to see what they look like right away and watch them grow and change.
