The meat is very mild. Tastes like chicken. grin The breasts are small and can get dry easily. I've prepared them using several pheasant recipes. Crock pot is a good option to preserve moisture. Otherwise, I like frying them in a pan with oil, salt and pepper. Enjoy.

We've pounded them flat and rolled them up with cream cheese, jalapenos and onion then wrapped in bacon and grilled. That was probably my favorite. Also have done stir fry with them, have smoked them, baked them. Could even make chuckar dip by boiling them, chopping up and putting in cream cheese with jalapenos and onion etc.. Or you could just chop upu and toss in a tin foil pouch with green pepper, onion, jalapenos, 10 ounces of sweet and sour and a 1/4 cup smokey tobasco, grill for 30-45 min serve over white rice.
