Boar Posted March 8, 2012 Share Posted March 8, 2012 Ive had luck every time Ive jigged for pike I like a Northland airplane jig in the sucker patern, tip with a 6 inch sucker, I modify mine an add a bigger trailer length with a bigger treble, Its worth trying. set out one tip up an hole hope hsallow to deep of a break line or shreline point. hydro Posted March 8, 2012 Share Posted March 8, 2012 I like to use a large Buckshot or flyer type of jig, tipped with half a minnow. It has been a consistent producer for me. Gordie Posted March 9, 2012 Share Posted March 9, 2012 Another one to use is a rattle rap. It will bring them in. Jig it 2-3 times them let it sit and twitch it a little bit them repeat process.
