Shimano Curado CU200G7 $159.99 (normal price) w/ $30 rebate right now.

That's what I was going to say or Abu has there 30$ rebate, but the SX would cost slightly more than 130 unless you find them on sale. I picked up a SX for 106$ when BTD had there 20% off sale, nice reel.

Hiya -

Curado or Citicas are good options for sure. Another one is the Pflueger Trion. Really bulletproof, and $99.

You're the second person I've heard talk about that reel that way in the last week...going to have to try one but too bad they don't make them in a 7:1 GR...

You could give the Quantum Kinetics a look as well. At $70 in the Cabela's bargain cave it is likely a solid choice. Others to consider; Lew's Tournament MG, Okuma Citrix. I've even heard good things about the Pinnacle Optimus.

Steve Quinn from In-Fish claims they're indestructible... If I were looking for a finesse reel for casting 1/4 oz baits or something I'd probably be looking for something else, as they don't have a magnetic cast control like the Patriarchs do (I freaking love my Patriarchs BTW) but for heavier baits, they're really solid. I haven't tried it personally, but I know a couple guys that love the 5.2:1 version for cranking.

Del - talking about the low profile Trions not the round ones...but you can petty much say the same for the round version - not flashy, but very solid.
