Morning trifecta !

I headed down to the open water at sun up hoping to get some flying waterfowl shots in the morning sun. I was delightfully sidetracked by an otter catching and eating breakfast. To top the encouter off, I had an eagle and a crow cleaning up scraps. I was able to get good photos of all three. I have seen otters many times up north but this was only the third one in the Twin Cities.

LOVE that second otter image...great head/body angle in relation to your shooting position and the light angle. Good low shooting angle too, putting the viewer in the otter's world. Nice clean teeth on that otter too....some of em have pretty grungy teeth for whatever reason.
