Well the trails are going to be taking a big hit from this weather! I'm glad I got a good ride in last weekend!

I really wanted to take the sled out yesterday, but it just wasn't in the cards. What kind of base did you guys see on your ride last weekend? I might try to venture out tomorrow or Friday in the morning during cooler temps.

It was pretty good up in the Finland area. If you can hit the groomer you maybe ok for a few more days! We had met the groomer right at the end of the day on Sunday as he was coming out of Finland and we were coming back.

I jumped on the sled yesterday and likely got in the last ride of this season. Started from the Sunset parking lot, rode the line out to the N Shore state trail. It was in good shape, but it won't survive a week of 50's. I finished a 50 mile loop around the res riders trail (fait to poor) to fish lake, with a stop at Hi-Banks for a burger. As usual the 14 miles back along the Hermantown trail was terrible. I'll be paying for that for a few days.
