I have found some agates around the Mn river valley, but not in the actual valley, or near the river... I'm Super excited to try shroom hunting this year. Do you think there are morel's in Western/ central Wisconsin?

That is PRIME morel country!! When I went to school in Menomonie I had more mushrooms than I could possibly know what to do with! I'd head out on the motorcycle with the biggest backpack I could find, and when I couldn't fit another shroom in it, I'd head back. I did this through out the season. It was amazing! I still do a morel trip every year to Wisconsin, but usually the Platteville area, and some years we come back with coolers full. I like to hit up some of my old honey holes around Menomonie on the way back, if there is time. Good luck!
