I know this will probably turn into a disbelief disclaimer but I know what I saw, and when I went back to the spot as I was cruising on the highway at the time I saw the glowing eyes back a ways in the woods, and where it was crouched in the ditch when I first saw it was a deer carcass possibly a road kill.....How can I get some pics of this guy? Field camera and a steak hanging from a tree? Keep in mind I do not want to harm this animal just get proof.......

chances are the cat has moved on either north towards Le Sueur or South towards Mankato. It's been a week since you last posted and considering how far they'll travel in a day, I'm guessing the cat could be between Belle Plaine and Jordan by now.

You already posted proof right here, I need no photo's, my friend has many trailcam pics from this fall showing a lion, there are some scattered around the state for sure, he called no 1 to tell them of the lion at his place, it has since moved on, they're around some. Good luck getting a picture of him before he's long gone.

Considering how many cougars my gf's family has seen on their whitewater rafting trips on the green river out west (zero) and how many pictures of paw prints they have at their campsites (many), it's pretty safe to say that if any cougars have been seen there are many more.
