McGurk
Same membrane, same prep. There may be an odd flap of meat on the membrane side that most people trim off. They may take longer than you are used to and take that into account for your timing. About an hour more typically.

reinhard1
to easily pull back the membrane stick a butter knife just behind the membrane between two ribs on one end about halfway down. then pull forward while holding on to the rack. when it seperates take a piece of paper towel and grab onto the membrane and pull it off. good luck. Leaky
Ya, that paper towel is the key. Everytime I have to pull that slippery membrane, it gets easier and easier. Great tip!
reinhard1
it is a great tip and worth taking note of. i used to use my fingers, and then a poster told us to use paper towels and i tried it and liked it. that's the great thing about our posters. always something new to learn. good luck. McGurk
For the membrane i like to start in the middle and work with my fingers, sliding almost all the way to one side but not the whole way. I then go back to the middle and go the other way all the way. Then pull the rest now that you have most of it off. I only do 3 or 4 at a time though.
