LMITOUT
Ford revealed their 2013 car today: I like that NASCAR is doing what they did in the Nationwide series with body styling which is similar to the actual showroom model that the public can purchase, aka a "stock" car. Can't wait to see the Dodge and Chevy models.
CAMAN
But is the Nascar styling off the stock car or is the stock car styling off the Nascar? Chicken/eggIt's still and Ford and it's still UhgLEE!

harvey lee
My guess is Rousch had some suggestion for the Frod's for the race track performance and then Ford added that to the street cars. If that does not help, NASCAR will make the needed changes for the Ford's incase they have speed issues.
LMITOUT
But is the Nascar styling off the stock car or is the stock car styling off the Nascar? Chicken/egg Production models have been designed by car manufacturers with the purpose of being competitive in NASCAR for decades, although not so sure that particular design criteria has been very prominent since the COT was introduced because those cars were essentially identical. Appears that with these new Cup cars that thinking is back.
Uncle Bill
It's still and Ford and it's still UhgLEE! Chevrolet released this image of their 2013 prototype. GM engineers (seen here test driving the vehicle) are said to be happy with the engine and drive train, but are concerned the aerodynamics fall short of NASCAR standards. They have applied for an additional government bailout and hope to make the necessary upgrades before the 2013 season.
