I have been looking to order one since the fall but their HSOforum says it won't happen anytime soon. Looks like I can place a order anytime but no idea when it will show up.

Ordered a Deadstick about 5 weeks ago. Haven't seen it. They don't have any blanks...the last batch they got was "bad". Got a Perch Sweetheart in about 17 days though.

Either way, at least I'll have it for next year...

We still don't have a definite answer on the Power Noodle and Dead Stick blanks, so don't believe anything you read unless it is posted by me or someone else from Thorne Bros. Some orders are being cancelled because people don't want to wait, others are being changed to a different rod, and then there are a lot of people who are just going to wait until the blanks come in... however, very few are actually being cancelled and we are not cancelling any of the orders unless told so by the customer...

I can tell you this though, there are a TON of orders for ice rods right now and we're doing our best to deal with each and every one in a fair manner. If anyone has a question about their order please don't hesitate to contact us at the store and we'll fill you in on the options... 763-572-3782.
