hows the gulp 1 inch minnow on panfish like perch crappies and sunfish? would it help seperate smaller fish and get the bigger ones to bite? seen the 2 inch ones but now see the 1 inchers. would like to hear some thaughts and tips when using them since costing $4-$5 for a small plastic baggy of 12 the last time i seen em they were like $4 for the jar but those were the 2 inch gulp minnows, or should I just buy some preserved small shiners? there roughly slightly over 2 inches

Get the 1" twister tails. Black and white are my two go to baits. They don't work well for finicky bites but they do work well otherwise.

It's all I use in the summer. In the winter I typically use little atom plastis. Dupies, squigies, and micro nuggies are always in stock in the tackle box!

I do prety darn good on these minnows - both the Gulp and the new Northland ones...

The other day I was fishing the Impulse minnow with the front 1/4 trimmed off and the rest threaded on a 1/124th oz jig. The crappies were loving it. I was near some "minnow dunkers" that were doing some head shakin... cool

Not the best picture, but you get the idea...

Good to see it works i catch just as much fish with gulp waxies compaired to real waxies i hope these 1 inch minnows can produce me some bigger perch and sunnies on coon also hopefully help me hook some crappies. Any tips on ways i can present it? Also do the only things that work at night are glow lures? I still havnt gone deeper than around 10 fow on coon lol havnt ventured out more to the middle yet maybe i should soon

gulp is some good stuff. use it a lot. curly minnow and straight minnow both work okay.

I have used a lot more than just glow lures after dark. sometimes a rattling jigging spoon produces well. other times a really small dark colored jig (much smaller than a waxie) works okay if the water is clear. the fish only notice the bait.

I've been using some of the gulp minnows and leeches I picked up when Gander had them free after rebate this summer. Used both open and hard water with less than great success. I'll keep using them and that luck may change, but so far nothing to write home about.
