Ice Tilt Historian

I am cleaning out an old Family Farmhouse for elderly mother. I have a bucket of Tilts which are stamped " Nonpareil Pat Jan 25 ' 97." I assume this is 1897. They look very old and are in excellent condition. I researched 'Nonpareil' and found companies making potatoes, textiles, and financial services. Noting back t oturn of century. These look like collectors items.

I would suspect that they are more of a product from your area and you may be better off asking some local group.

Very cool find! Value is always relative to the eye of the beholder, but likely better than the average wood stick type of today. I'd say keep them as a display item, doubt you'll find them again soon.

You could contact the Fishing Hall of Fame in Hayward, WI. They have a lot of knowledgeable fishing historians.
