Auger bags...Worth it?

Have a gift card to burn and the auger bags are about 1/2 off. Worth the purchase? Here is all that I'm looking to get out of this: To keep my other equipment from getting oily. I've tried amsoil and now going to try this lumber/timber stuff but nothing works as my auger spits out oil or seems to leak something. Just thought this would be an easy fix to keep all the oil or spilled gas from getting all over the place. Worth it or do they tear or are they not leak proof?

Thanks,

CC

I picked up one of the Cabella's ones a few years ago for transport in my SUV. Found some oil on a seat, which prompted me to get it. No regrets, no oil since then.

When I get to the lake, I just unzip it and leave it in the truck.

I have one of the Nils Covers and its very well made. I think if your auger leaks oil it will be great. get that auger cleaned up though. somthings wrong if its spitting oil when you burn amsoil at the right mix.

Great advice and I acually had it serviced at Strikemaster this summer so hopefully it was taken care of. However, they are about 1/2 off so I guess i'd rather be safe and just not have to worry about oil leaking every where. I'll just mostly be using it during transport like the first poster said and maybe on long sled rides when i hit up lost lakes to protect it as well as oil all over my gear.

Thanks
