Calling Contests

Does anyone know of any waterfowl calling contests in so day, mn or iowa?

I believe the MN state comp is at the Scheels show in Mankato in August. They used to have one at Gamefair in Anoka but did not last year.

Look on Callingducks.com under either duck or goose calling and you see the lists of dates as they are set.. theres also ranking ect ect ect ..

MN State will probably take place at Mankato Scheels in August again; SD state (duck and goose) is for residents only or students with valid SD university ID, but there might be some opens next year depending on scheduling. Burlington, IA hosts a large contest every year as well. There are probably others I can't think of, but callingducks contest calendar will have anything up they get wind of.

There used to be more, but when the turnout is bad, its hard to justify continuing having the contests.

Check out the Mn Duck and Goose Callers Assoc. Our HSOforum is mnduckandgoosecallers.org We are the ones that put on the contests at Scheels and Game Fair.We have our monthly meetings that are open to the public the last Thursday of the month at the Cabelas in Rogers.Also our Banquet is coming up on Jan. 21st at Blainbrook Bowl
