"Mine actually started the previous season but really took hold as my youngest boy (16) became severely hooked on bass fishing this year. Now he DVRs' all the fishing shows he can and spends what money he has on tackle' grin

When i was in BP in Springfield a while back; there was a dad with his sons' list ( Christmas list!!) looking thru plastics, and such. He is in the same situation! But he knew little about bass fishing! His 13 yr. old son was becoming hard core, and VERY speciffic about what he wanted. smile I told him that atleast he wasn't sitting on his rear playing video games!

My favorite memory was finally fishing Pelican Lake near Orr, MN. Spent a week up there in July. Probably fished 70 hours in 7 days. What a blast! Tons of LM & SM!
i'd love to do that sometime. i've been up there 7 times for day trips but it usually takes me most of a day to narrow em down. 7 days in a row would be awesome!
