MJ1657
Hey guys just a friendly reminder to please push your block back in and mark your hole when your'e done spearing.I saw many blocks left on the ice this weekend (none by the HSO group). All it takes is for someone to hit one with an atv or snowmobile even at a slow speed and seriously injure or kill someone. The holes also freeze back up much faster when they are put back in so someone doesn't accidentally step in an unfroze hole. It's very easy to fall in one if snow is falling or the wind is blowing just enough to mask the hole.Lets not give anyone any reason to complain about spear fisherpersons. Archerysniper
I almost drove the wheeler into one leaving the lake today if bowhunt didn't yell I would have drove right into it,that hole they pushed the block under the ice and it wasn't marked would have hurt a bit to drive into a 4 foot by 3 foot hole. Gordie
And if the hole is froze up and your left with a block PLEASE break it up into tiny peace that also would not be fun to run into..
