Easy Walleye Soup

4-5 Potatoes dice

2-3 carrots diced

4 Cups of Water

1 can evaporated milk

1 cup of pearl onions

3-4 Fillets cubed (larger fillets work better and hold together better when cooked)

Few dabs of butter

Salt and pepper to taste

Put water,carrots and potatoes in pot and simmer for about 30 minutes.If useing larger carrots simmer carrots about 15 minutes before you add the potatoes.

Then add onions and can of evaporated milk and stir. Cook on low heat till potatoes and carrots are done.

Add chunks of fish and pats of butter and let sit for about 5 minutes till fish turns white. full-27870-15090-001.jpg

Yes you can add anything you want and the chicken boulion might be good.I usually just use water as this is something I whip up on camping or fishing trips usually when it is chilly out and everyone loves it.And you dont have to bring much along to make it. Next time I might toss in a boulion cube and see how it tastes.
