Can this portable pole be fixed or replaced?

I had a pole break late last year on my Nordic portable. The company is no longer in business so buying a replacement from the manufacturer is not an option. Can this be fixed? If not does anyone know of a place in the metro that can create a pole like this? Thanks in advance.

I know I can reinforce/weld it, maybe even make a new one if I have some similar material at work. PM me or shoot me an email if you want me to see if I can hook you up. I live in New Market.

dont let your wife use the sled anymore and this kind of stuff wont happen

Close. A buddy of mine did it. Pulled it with a sled w/o the cover on and it opened up while dragging it across the lake. Came back with a hole in the door from the sunflower too. I know how to fix that.

Sounds to me that this "Buddy" of yours owes you a new house. I'm sorry but two mishaps in one trip like that means he must not of cared about your stuff very much. I guess if I borrowed someones stuff I'd make extra sure nothing happened to it that I could control.

I replaced the whole pole system on my otter lodge, buy going to the hardware store, buying two size that slide inside one onother, had them bend it, an i just took ou the old sping push button clips an put them in the new poles an whoopie doo! new pole pole system alot cheaper. An there is alot more tolerance in the slideing pole too, no burrs to get worked up.
