bgfish00
I am looking to get a Windshield this year for the ATV. I have a Xplorer 400 so I don't need anything really special, but I am looking for Durability, Function, at a decent Price. Lets hear what works.... KatoMike
I have two different brands (on two different Yamaha atvs). The one is VIP-Air. Great windshield - I have never taken it off since I put it on. I have trailered (on an open trailer behinde my fifth wheel camper) to the atv to the Black Hills and to Wisconson and the windshield does not fold over. Very good quality. I can't recall the brand of the other windshield - I will look tonight. It is very easy to remove and I remove it when trailering.
pulleye16
I love my Cobra but that's the only one i've ever owned. It doesn't vibrate and serves it function very well. My AVT (honda Foreman) can hit 55 mph so trailering it at those speeds should be fine. Otherwise a quick untightening with an allen wrench is all it takes to loosen the 4 bolts. They are somewhat custom the the machines I think so fitting is good.
loosegoose
I have had a Cobra on my ATV for 10 years. It has been a great windshield. Holds up very well to trailering as long as the front is facing forward. Now after the years the rubber grommets are starting to deteriorate but it's to be expected after 10 years. 1johntimm
Cobra's are good, but whatever you do don't buy a Slipstream.
