LED's in a HUB

Pooh

Recommended Posts

Have any of you used The FireBrite LED rope lights in a hub? Did a search and see guys using them in flip over houses, not too many hubs though.

House is a 6' by 6' AP outdoors XI3. I like lots of light when Im ice fishing. How big of strip do you recomend? Do they hold up well in the cold?

I just bought a 96 led strip for my "commando" and puts out enough lite to see the area in front of me. But thats setting in my workshop with the lights out. Hopefully it will be the same on the ice. I wouldn't go with anything less than the 96 and would go larger if they have them. My .02

I have a clam 6x6 hub and i use a 120cm or 48 inch led from the outdoorprostore.com You can rig these to fit any fishing style. when you are fishing with another person you can be 2 ways in a hub back to back or facing the same way.

For facing the same way. The hub style house have the bars that make an X just velcro the light to the poles that make a V above your hole.

For back to back just make a straight line over your heads along the poles. They run great off of a 12 volt flasher battery.

Check them out Here They will be in stock early next week.

If your looking for a set of LED lights that are very bright and work very well, one cannot beat the ones in the Outdoor pro Store.

These are quality lights and when I took care of the store for Fishing Minnesota, not once was a set returned for being faulty. We sold alot of these and from the feedback I recieved, they were all very happy with their purchase.

You may find a light string for less but I highly doubt there is another light string that is better than the ones I am talking about.

These baby's are the cats meow.
