November Full Moon?

I'm just wondering if any of you have had success trolling raps at night during the november full moon? I fish in october every year but was thinking of going out this weekend. It is supposed to be nice and a full moon as well.

Gosh I hope so. I have never had my boat out this late (guess I'm a wus). But this year I'm all in and am very excited about fishing tomorrow and Saturday night. My absolute favorite walleye night cranking nights are:

1) September full moon

2) October full mnoon.

So likely November full moon has to be next, right? Cisco will be setting up for a spawn also on our lake, so the fish should be shallow, I just hope they are not full. I plan on jigging and slip bobber fishing suckers for big pikers during the day, and trolling deep husky herks, regular HJ-14's, and a jointed X-Rap 13 for walleyes at night. Maybe throw in a F13 as well, but honestly I've never caught a walleye on our lake with a floater. What speeds are you planning on running?

Hi guys, I will be out on the full moon also, on a new lake with CISCOS. What type of terrain do they school in, I am assuming the only weeds that remain. Good luck this weekend I will give a report Monday.

Look for deeper basins or holes next to shallow sandy/small gravel flats. Don't know how far north you are but it is possible the might start spawning soon. If you have decent electronics, you can probably find some schooled up. There are usually plenty of pig eyes, pike, and skis nearby......

Stop it, you're making me drool all over my keyboard. I just know its far better to be there before the spawn (predators still hungry) than after the spawn when they're fat and full.

For me the november moon is much slower fishing than the october...the quality of fish tends to be very good though.

I made it out, I did good on multi species before changing over and trolling for eyes at dark. I only managed 1 eye and 1 miss. It was nice out but not much luck.

Kind of a strange weekend for us, but fun. Normally we can't keep the pike and bass off our line. Day fishing is usually good. This weekend it was opposite, fish only caught at night and nothing but walleyes. We had a total of 6: 1 dink, 1 eater, and 4 in the 24-26" range. All caught as shallow as we dared without fouling in dead weeds @ 10-12 FOW. Most were caught trolling stick cranks using electric TM. Casting did not seem to work very well. Water temp was 43-44F. I saw some cisco in the shallows during the morming, so the spawn was apparently just setting up.

Here's a 26" that I picked up. And a pic of how nice and calm it was on Saturday morning. Great weekend! Sadly I washed up the boat yesterday and will winterize it this coming weekend.

Two rods landed 2 fish 24+26 both very healthy• an lost two more. The amazing thing was how spot on the spot those fish were. we could not conjure up a hit other than in that spot for 6 solid hours of fishing.

Was up north fishing the november full moon, water temp was down to 38-39. Only caught 2 walleyes the whole weekend, tried deeper, shallow 1.0-1.8 mph.

On the other hand, I did land a 42" Muskie! My biggest fish to date! Easy way to make up for a slow weekend!
