Suspension Grease

GFNER

Recommended Posts

Just wondering what kind of grease others use for suspension. I'm looking for some low temp. Used regular all purpose last year and the rear suspension just seemed too stiff/sticky didn't seem to be working correctly and even hung up a few times. Any recommendations? Thanks!

I agree with mamohr I don't think grease alone is going to cause it to hang up. You could also have a cross shaft freezing up because it's not getting grease. When you do go to grease it and find one of your fittings not taking grease I would check that shaft to make sure it's not sticking or froze up.

White lithium grease if you can find it. Or the low temp type if you cant. I agree with the statement that if your suspension is "hangingup" it is the cross shafts that are doing it. Most common problems with suspensions is lack of grease.
