fishinjosh98
I found a remington 700 ADL, are they any good? And I narrowed it down to two calibers 30-06 or .270 if anyone has a preference let me know
Archerysniper
Their is a reason Remington 700's are still on the market and one of the most popular rifles. They are a great rifle and very accurate, as far as the caliber both are great you will be happy with either one.
harvey lee
Ditto on what Sniper stated. I do like the 270 myself but I also have a 30-06.
KG243
270 is a great caliber and wont break your shoulder.
TooTallTom
270 is a great caliber and wont break your shoulder. Ditto for .30-06. If you plan on hunting something bigger than whitetails, you can get heavier bullets in .30-06. But .270 has its advantages as well. I shoot .30-06 because they're more common in my camp and it's what my dad had when I was buying. I like knowing that I could scrounge up a couple rounds pretty easily if need be.
