Scent

If you stored it in a cool dark place and it's in an amber glass bottle the degredation should be minimal. If it froze, cap was loose, it got hot, or was left in direct sunlight, I'd think about tossing it and buy fresh. Good luck.

If it is supposedly "real" deer urine, you more than likely have a bottle of ammonia now. As soon as the deer urine exits the body bacterial breakdown of urea begins, the byproduct is ammonia. Don't believe it, pee in your toilet and let it sit for a few weeks without flushing, let alone a whole year. Synthetic scents can prevent this spoilage, but they are not "real".

Would I still use it, yes, because I have it and I am cheap and the only alternative is to toss it. A deer will smell it and know another deer urinated in that location, but will probably also know it didn't JUST happen.

Anyways this is what my scent research leads me to believe, take it with a grain of salt.
