Which Bow???

Hey all,

Since I never recovered my lost bow, I must now purchase a new one!! I shot both the Mathews Z-7 Extreme and a Hoyt Carbon Element. I am having a tough time deciding and was hoping some of you could give some opinions on both these bows!

xtrem is to short ata , I think the original z7 is a way better bow and the element isnt worth the extre $ , I have a crx 32 and cannot say I love it but is a nice bow

I'm a Mathews guy and have been for 6 years now, but I am not sure if I should shoot the new Carbon Element. I might be spending some money. I've heard good things about both. Just shoot them both and decide for yourself.

Go with the Z7extreme beyond awesome tack driving heart breaking bow. I was a bow tech guy for years but no bow tech I ever shot ever compared to the Z7extreme

I love my Z7. the extreme is just a little short for me. seeems to fits in my hands well and the smooth draw cycle is what really topped the cake!

There is nothing wrong with either of them except the price. If price is no object then pick the one that shoots the best for you.

I have been a Mathews shooter for many years so I would lean towards that model but, pick the one you like the best.

I am sure both will drop a deer with practice.

The extreme is nice but I actually preffered the EZ7 over the extreme, if you haven't shot the EZ, try it out.

I couldn't decide between a Hoyt or a Mathews either and kept going back and forth, but once I shot an Elite, the decision became very clear

Love my Z7 but I'm sure either will do just fine.

Let me know what you decide. I'm going to upgrade after bow season and I was debating between the same two bows, although I'm sure I'll look at any newer models as well.

Although I need to shoot both I'm leaning towards the Hoyt. My last two bows were Mathews but I got a little ticked at Mathews when my limbs cracked and they sent me black limbs because they had a falling out with

RealTree.

I know they now have their own camo but I wasn't happy with a 3 year old bow with black limbs, especially for what it cost.

Thanks everyone, for your opinions. The price difference will not matter since they hoyt will be "used". The owner of the shop wants to take it out west and then would sell it to me for a dicounted price. The Mattews would be new.
