fishinchicks
I pulled 19 roasts for my daughter's graduation a couple of years ago. I would have loved using that! Awesome!
ozzie
just make sure you don't end up with metal shavings in your pork!!
pushbutton
Huh! just googled it and found one for a little under 70 bucks. Think i will continue to go oo, owe, ouch, but if you are in the business or feed the county like Fishinchicks did, might be worth it. catfishkid
I went to the big M and got everything for about 12 dollars. It is a 4 1/2 inch cast iron drain cover and 3 two inch bolt and one 12 inch bolt. Add a couple of nuts and your good to go. very easy to make. Ice Shack Baby
Great idea, wonder how easily it would be to clean out?
thirdeye
I've seen a homemade version in action. The biggest disavantages are you can't remove heavy areas of fat, or select the good bark to mix back into your meat. I also like doing a different amount of pulling on the different muscle groups, so I wind up with some chunks and some pulled pork. I use these to start off with, and wear rubber gloves to do the fine work.
