Where to go in November Western Minnesota?

Hey guys,

I lucked out bowhunting and tagged out early.

I have some time off during early November and would like to plan a duck hunting trip in the western part of the state.

Not looking for a specific place or pond, but could use some advice on a good general area to start a search. Any and all advise is very much appreciated!

Ortonville? Fergus falls? Etc?

Anywhere North of US 212 and west of US 59 and you should find some birds. Are you looking to hunt big water for divers? Potholes? Fields for canadas and ducks?

To be a little more specific I would be pulling my fishhouse out for lodging and have my canoe to hunt out of with waders too. I can steal a buddies dog to make things easier.

Kinda looking more towards hunting puddles or small creeks, maybe do some jump shooting too.

I would like to target some mallards on their way to spring break
