old outboard?

My father inlaw passed away a few months ago. We are cleaning out his pack ratted garage. Found an old outboard packed way back in a corner. It is a scott atwater, model 481 ser. #481-315784, 3.6 hp. No one in the family wants it. I really don't want them to just scrap it, but have no idea where to take it, or how to get it to someone that may want it or restore it. Any thoughts? Anyone here have any thoughts? Anyone here collect or restore old outboards? My guess any offer would be considered. Thx

Just for fun, I did a quick search on bay auction site. Looks like you might get 100 bucks if you are lucky.

There is a really terrific boat and motor museum in Alexandria MN and they might be interested.
