Thinking of purchasing an M2. All you M2 owners give me your opinions on why I should or shouldn't get one.

I have owned a M2 since then governor Jesse V. gave us the rebate way back when. I love this gun and if I ever lost it or had it stolen or whatever I would first cry and then go buy another one. Light, dependable, and handles great. It shoots three inch shells and that's plenty enough firepower for my type of hunting. It's my pheasant, duck, and turkey gun and works great for all three. Did I say I love this gun? Highly recommended.

I've shot a deer with it, several turkeys, a bunch of ducks and geese, grouse, pheasant... its a great gun. Light enough for upland, handles well, and like all Benelli guns, very few moving pieces, well made, and easy to clean

Have a brand new one in the gun rack that wifey won. Haven't shot it yet but sure feels nice. Can't really see a reason not to pony up to the SBE though if purchasing. Can't be but a couple hundred bucks difference. Pretty hard to find anything bad about Benelli. High quality products. Don't fit some shooters and others have brand loyalty clouding vision which will happen with any product.

I love mine. I shoot left handed and the left handed model even has a butt pad designed to fit the left shoulder. The shims are nice to get proper fit.

Glad people like the M2! That's my dream gun. If I didn't have a huge dog surgery bill to pay for, it'd be on my short list of "must haves" for this fall.
