I don't understand why all coolers aren't white. The dark colors absorb the sun and heat.

Why???? Not everyone likes the color white.

Guess I was thinking of efficiency not style. I guess style sells.

If efficient was the only thing and flash not the case we would all be driving black cars.

I actually take black soft coolers with while winter camping, the goal of the cooler is to keep things from freezing. They absorb those March sunrays very well, but they are useless during the other times of the year.

That is an interesting concept. Coolers to keep the cold out.

I also wonder why a Yeti is $300+. I can buy a fridge for that.

Coolers are also great for keeping things warm. I'll use them for when I can fit everything on my grill at once. I'll throw what ever I made first into a cooler, then finish off the more time sensitive things. A cooler simply inhibits heat transfer.
