sorry Dark, the pics all look to be fine size on my browser, I will try and make them smaller. The classifieds I saw on here said "free things given only" Is there a different one I am missing?

Its pretty small, I had zoom in and then blow it up. It weighs just under 0.5 Oz. Sometimes the small ones pack the biggest punch. The face is super smooth and wind polished. And yes I would take u up on that come spring

Wow! The colors on that bottom one are crazy! Very cool, never seen anything like that one before.

These are my first fairburn agates from south dakota. they are really something different. I am already planing a trip next summer to go hunt for them. Its funny but fairburns are valued differently than lake superiors. Weight is not important so much as quality.

Where can a person sell these? I picked up some a few years back and polished them. I am not into it and thought I would be but just dont have the time anymore. One of them is almost the size of a baseball. Can pm. me if you know where I can get rid of them. Thanks

connan, I see that some guys take pics of them while submerged in mineral oil. Takes any reflections off the stone and shows them in amazing detail, just some food for thought

I met an old hippie and his dog Ceasar at the pit....both good fellows. Didn't see them last year but Ceasar would always come over for a scratch when he noticed me.

Thanks! The first one is about 5 Oz. and nope not a pro photog, ha. My little bro is though; a photojournalist. I just have a nice camera. A Canon DSLR with a nice Tamron lens.
